How it works

Our facial expressions – laughing, smiling, frowning - are produced by the movement of muscles underneath the skin. Over time, these muscle contractions lead to wrinkles and 'grooves' forming in the skin. As we age and our collagen and elastin production slows down, these lines become more pronounced. Anti-wrinkle injections made from a purified protein are applied under the skin, temporarily reducing the action of the targeted muscles and preventing them from moving. As a result, lines and wrinkles in the skin are softened, giving you a younger, fresher-looking appearance. Read our Botox® and Xeomin® 101 guide for more information on anti-wrinkle injections.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatment Areas

Common areas that are treated include ‘grumpy lines’ (or frown line), the forehead, the ‘smile’ crow’s feet around the eyes. At Caci we offer the following Botox® and Xeomin® treatments:

Frown lines

Using Botulinum toxin injections (Botox®) or Xeomin® for frown lines (glabellar or 11 lines) softens the look of anger, tension or intense concentration. When treating this area it helps give the area a refreshed and relaxed look.

Crows feet

Fine lines in the corner of the eyes are known as ‘crows feet’ or 'smile lines' and are caused by squinting or laughing. These can be effectively treated with Botox® or Xeomin for a refreshed, youthful look.

Forehead lines

Botox® or Xeomin® in the forehead area is effective for reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles that are caused by the expressions we make daily.
